The Mayfair subdivision is where Public Works will be constructing missing sidewalk segments. There have been a number of requests from residents that have to walk in the road because the sidewalks just end and it forces them into the street. This project will add connectivity and continuity to the existing sidewalk. The locations for this pedestrian safety project are as follows:

• Between Elliot Avenue and Summerlin Avenue on the south side East 2^nd Street.
• Between Scott Avenue and Virginia Avenue on the south side of East 2^nd Street.
• Between 2^nd Street and East 8^th Street on the east side of Virginia Avenue.
• Between Virginia Avenue and Scott Avenue on the south side of East 8^th Street.

Work is scheduled to begin the week of July 10^th and will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. The below image is a location graphic showing the areas where the work will take place.
